i'm sanja zündorf, the founder of entzück dich selbst. i'm 31 years old and live in cologne. for now, this is still a one-woman-show.
for a long time, i thought i was the only woman who masturbated. i never talked about the topic with my group of friends, even though we talked very openly about sex. In 2019, I looked into the topic scientifically for the first time and realized how incredibly little many women and vulva wearers know about their bodies - even though masturbation is an important part of sexual emancipation. only those who know what they want can say no to things they don't want.
my research
in my master's thesis, i revisited the topic and wrote a scientific paper on “the influence of patriarchal social structures on female masturbation with sex toys”. in my research and a survey of over 500 women, i was shocked to discover how many women are ashamed of their way of masturbating simply because they don't masturbate using the male gaze, i.e. lying on their backs and penetrating themselves.
humping pillows was on the one hand particularly popular and on the other hand associated with a lot of shame. I decided to destigmatize masturbation with pillows to create a collection of toys that are made for just that!
my mission
I want to educate people about pillow humping, but also in other areas, which is why there will be books, manuals and many other exciting things on the subject in the future!
